BookFest Singapore 2017 Opening Ceremony

Danny Yeo was the appointed emcee for Book Fest Singapore since its inception and he was excited to be back again this year to host the largest and most successful book festival in Singapore.
Organised by Popular Holdings Limited, BookFest@Singapore exemplifies Popular’s business passion in promoting a reading and learning culture in Singapore. Over the last 11 years, BookFest has been an important platform for many, including the public in gaining access to quality reading materials, the learners getting to master languages, and local authors being recognised and supported.
BookFest 2017 was the largest ever with 130,000 square feet of exhibition space, where visitors can find a vast range of books, stationery, music, gadgets and IT products. A good number of celebrated artistes, authors and chefs from Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan were also gathered for various activities and talks.
