Pure Talents Bilingual Emcee Lin Baofeng is honoured to host CDAC’s 4th Partner Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 23 June 2017. The Guest-of-Honour was Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam and in attendance were DPM, Minister Gan Kim Yong, Minister Ong Ye Kung, Mr Chua Thian Poh and CDAC Board members.
350 partners, volunteers, donors, stakeholders and guests gathered at the event. A total of 91 awards were presented to dedicated partners, supporting organisations and donors, to recognise and appreciate their contributions. The first Outstanding Partner Award (Local) was presented to Fajar Secondary School which has been working closely with CDAC to organise Club Sunday programme annually for the student beneficiaries since 2010 . The Outstanding Partner Award (Local) was also presented to Nanyang Girls’ High School (NYGH), a new partner who has been very supportive towards CDAC. In 2015, NYGH gave tremendous support towards CDAC’s SG50 project by mobilising its whole school of 1,700 staffs and students to participate in the knot-tying activity.
To mark CDAC’s 25th Anniversary,Distinguished Partner Awards were presented to four partners, namely, SINDA, People’s Association, The Eurasian Association and MENDAKI, for their unwavering support to CDAC since its inception in 1992.
