Supporters braved the afternoon sun to attend the first promotional roadshow public appearance for the cast and director of local epic movie 1965. Pure Talents bilingual emcee Danny Yeo was specifically selected to host this event for mm2 Entertainment.

Fans, friends and the public got to hear from Qi Yuwu, Deanna Yusoff, James Seah, Sezairi, Mike Kasem and the director Randy Ang about the movie’s characters, filming details and creation process.

1965 is a riveting dramatic thriller that uses a piece of Singapore history like never before. Telling engaging and touching stories of immigrants and natives; how a group of people, divided by race, language and religion, saw their lives profoundly transformed by a defining moment in history. Their paths will cross and clash in the race riots during the months leading to the separation from Malaysia, and to the independence of Singapore.

1965 is presented by blue3 Pictures and mm2 Entertainment Pte Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of mm2 Asia Ltd.), The Number 8 Yard, Bert Pictures, Fox International Channels, Infinite Frameworks, Pinnacle Enterprise, Shaw Organisation, Starhub Cable Vision Ltd, Transocean Oil Pte Ltd, 3VS1, and supported by Singapore Film Commission and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) as one of the SG50 films for 2015.
