Pure Talents bilingual emcee Danny Yeo hosted the Kingsford Development’s Art Competition Awards Ceremony at their showflat organised for residents and owners of WaterBay.
The competition started on 18 August and received an amazing collection of artworks from children and youth aged 4 to 14. By the closing date of 19 September, the organiser received a total of 130 artworks.
The event was organised by Kingsford Development Pte Ltd, known for its quality and reliability. Set in 2000, Kingsford Development has won many prestigious awards for outstanding projects in China and established itself as a leading developer in Asia. Kingsford is not just a trusted builder on solid foundation, but it is also concerned about quality environment and creative development. Hence, besides condos, terraces and semi-detached houses, WaterBay also has retail shops and a childcare centre – something really unique for a development.
Judges for the competition included President of Singapore Watercolour Society Mr Seah Kang Chui, Senior Art Writer Mr Leong Weng Kam, Contemporary Watercolour Artist, Mr Lee Kian Choong, Principal of Moyuan Culture Education Centre Ms Li Dongmei, and Creative Director of Vizone Media Production Mr Xu Jinsong.
The second prize winner in the youth category received $1000 cash prize and the three winners in the children category received prizes of $500, $800 and $1000 cash.
