Jasmine Xie hosted the NUSBS’ pilot Buddhist music concert – The First Piece: Return of Innocence, jointly produced with Singapore Buddhist Music HQ! The concert presented contemporary Buddhist songs composed and arranged by local singers, some of whom are professional musicians and producers.
Contrary to popular stereotypes, the concert showcased contemporary Buddhist songs mainly in English and Mandarin in a fun, refreshing and modern take on of the ancient religion.
