Pure Talents veteran emcee Danny Yeo returns to host the Readers’ Choice Awards 2016 Presentation Ceremony, the 5th year of this prestigious award in the book publishing industry.
The Readers’ Choice Award was conceived to encourage and promote writing in Singapore. There are 3 main categories for the awards, namely: English Adult Books, English Children Books and Chinese Books. Winners are determined by votes received from the general public.
At the event were: Ms Catherine Lau, Assistant Chief Executive of Public Library Services, National Library Board; Mr Carlo Pena, Assistant Director of National Book Development Council of Singapore; Mr Irwin Tham, Vice President for Product Management – Emerging Affluent Card for Citibank SMRT card; Ms Lim Lee Ngoh, CEO of Malaysia & Singapore POPULAR; and Ms Tracy Kwan, Director Retail Business POPULAR Singapore.

English Adult Category —
1st – Up Close with Lee Kuan Yew by Various Authors

3rd – Larger Than Life by Belinda Lee
English Children Category —
1st – Harry Builds A Nation by Patrick Lee

3rd – Travel Diary of Amos Lee: Quokking in Australia by Adeline Foo and Stephanie Wong
Chinese Category —
