Pure Talents bilingual emcee Danny Yeo was back to host the Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award a second year around, after its inaugural event in 2014. 2015’s award presentation ceremony proved to be grander and more professional than the first – a wonderful improvement to much glee and excitement from all involved.
The night’s Guest of Honour was Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. The organisers were represented by President of the Federation of Merchants Association Singapore (FMAS), Mr Yeo Hiang Meng PBM, Vice President of Federation of Merchants Association Singapore and Chairman of Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award 2015 Organising Committee, Mr Hoon Thing Leong PBM, Chief Editor of Lianhe Wanbao, Ms Lee Huay Leng, as well as Committee members of FMAS.
The Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award is a prestigious business accolade. Co-organised by the Federation of Merchants’ Associations Singapore and Lianhe Wanbao, the award is all about elevating the overall business standards and the professional image of heartland enterprises as well as fuelling the competitive spirit in the heartland business community. The award presentation ceremony highlighted the core strengths, capabilities and potentials of all the unsung heroes in our heartland.
